Terms of service
Terms of Service
1. Overview
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the iDACTIVE / iDFITNESS online store and any purchases you make through it.
The store is operated by The Fitness Industry Directory Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), trading as iDACTIVE and iDFITNESS.
By accessing the website, browsing products or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by any other policies linked on the site (including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy). If you do not agree, you should not use this website or place an order.
2. Business details
-
Legal entity: The Fitness Industry Directory Limited
-
Company number: 08745011 (registered in England & Wales)
-
Trading names: iDACTIVE and iDFITNESS
-
Contact email: hello@idactive.shop
All contracts for the sale of goods through this website are made between you and The Fitness Industry Directory Limited.
3. Use of the website
You agree:
-
To use the website only for lawful purposes.
-
Not to interfere with or disrupt the operation of the site.
-
Not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the site.
We may update, change or remove any part of the website, products, pricing or content at any time without prior notice, where permitted by law.
4. Product information
We aim to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible, including sizing, colours, materials and key features. However:
-
Colours may appear differently on different screens and under different lighting conditions.
-
Minor variations in fit or finish may occur between production runs.
-
All products are subject to availability and we reserve the right to discontinue or change them at any time.
Nothing on the website is a guarantee that a particular product will be in stock at all times.
5. Orders and contract formation
When you place an order on the website:
-
You are making an offer to buy the products in your basket at the prices shown, subject to these Terms.
-
You may receive an order confirmation or acknowledgment email – this confirms that we have received your order but does not guarantee acceptance.
-
A binding contract is formed only when we dispatch your order and send a shipping confirmation email.
If we are unable to accept your order (for example due to stock issues, payment problems or an error in pricing or product information), we will notify you and refund any amounts charged for that order.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order and to limit quantities purchased per person, per household or per order, where reasonably necessary (for example, to prevent suspected fraud).
6. Pricing and payment
-
All prices on the website are shown in GBP and are inclusive of UK VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise.
-
Shipping costs and any additional charges will be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
-
We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct, but errors may occur. If a pricing error is discovered after you place an order, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund, or give you the option to reconfirm at the correct price.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate billing and contact information for all orders. Payment must be made using one of the methods offered at checkout. Your payment provider may carry out additional checks to verify your identity and authorise the transaction.
7. Delivery
7.1 Shipping area
We currently ship within the United Kingdom only as standard.
7.2 Processing times
-
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 working days.
-
Orders placed after 2pm, on weekends or on UK bank holidays are processed on the next working day.
7.3 Delivery times
-
Standard UK delivery: usually 5–10 working days after dispatch.
-
Express delivery is not currently offered; all orders are shipped on our standard service.
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carrier backlogs, adverse weather, strikes, customs issues or other events beyond our reasonable control.
7.4 Delivery charges
Shipping costs are shown at checkout and may vary based on delivery address and order value. From time to time we may run free‑shipping promotions; when available, these will be clearly displayed on the website.
7.5 Delivery areas and restrictions
We deliver to most UK mainland addresses. Certain remote areas (for example Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands or Isle of Man) may have longer delivery times or additional charges, which will be shown at checkout where applicable.
8. International enquiries (Europe & United States)
For orders shipping to Europe or the United States, typical delivery charges and timeframes will differ from our standard UK rates, and additional customs duties, import taxes and handling fees may apply.
At present, these orders are handled on a case‑by‑case basis rather than through the online checkout. If you wish to place an order for delivery to Europe or the United States, please contact us at hello@idactive.shop so we can confirm current options, costs and any applicable import requirements before you purchase.
Unless we explicitly state otherwise in writing, you are responsible for any customs duties, taxes or fees applied by the destination country.
Customs duties, import taxes and fees
For any orders delivered outside the United Kingdom (including Europe and the United States), all customs duties, import taxes, brokerage or handling fees charged by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer.
We do not control these charges, and we do not cover, refund or pre‑pay any customs duties, import taxes or related fees. If you place an order for delivery outside the UK, you are responsible for:
-
Checking any import rules and restrictions that apply in your country
-
Paying any customs or import charges required for your parcel to be released and delivered
If you refuse to pay such charges and the shipment is returned or destroyed, we may deduct any costs and charges incurred (including outbound and return shipping, and any carrier fees) from any refund that may be due, where permitted by law.
9. Incorrect addresses and failed deliveries
Please check your shipping address carefully before placing your order.
If a parcel is returned to us because:
-
The address provided was incomplete or incorrect, or
-
Delivery attempts were repeatedly unsuccessful,
we may need to charge an additional shipping fee to resend the order or, if you choose not to have it resent, refund the product cost minus any original shipping charges (where permitted by law).
10. Missing or damaged items
If your order arrives damaged or appears to be missing items, please contact us at hello@id.fitness as soon as possible, ideally within 7 days of delivery, with:
-
Your order number
-
Photos of the packaging and any damaged items (if applicable)
-
A description of the issue
If your order has not arrived within 15 working days of dispatch and the tracking does not show a delivery scan, contact us with your order number so we can investigate with the carrier and assist with a replacement or refund where appropriate.
11. Right to cancel (UK consumers)
If you are a consumer in the UK, you may have a legal right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason (the “cooling‑off period”), subject to certain exceptions.
To exercise this right:
-
You must notify us clearly (e.g. by email to hello@idactive.shop) within 14 days of receiving your order that you wish to cancel.
-
You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
Your refund rights, including what is refundable (products, original shipping, return shipping) and how returns should be packaged and sent, are detailed in our Refund Policy, which should be read alongside these Terms.
Some items may be excluded from the right to cancel under consumer law, for example:
-
Sealed items not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed, if the seal has been broken.
-
Items that have been clearly personalised or customised for you.
Where such exclusions apply, this will be indicated on the product page or in our Refund Policy.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
12. Returns and refunds
Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. That policy explains:
-
How to request a return or exchange.
-
Conditions for returning items (e.g. unworn, unwashed, original tags/packaging).
-
Which costs are refunded and which may not be (e.g. original shipping).
-
How long refunds normally take to appear in your account.
If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Refund Policy, the Refund Policy will apply to the extent of the conflict in relation to returns and refunds.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on this website – including text, product names, logos, graphics, images and site design – is owned by or licensed to The Fitness Industry Directory Limited trading as iDACTIVE and iDFITNESS, unless otherwise stated.
The iDACTIVE name, iD logo and related branding used on this website are proprietary to The Fitness Industry Directory Limited.

14. Accuracy of information
We aim to keep all information on this website accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that:
-
All product descriptions, pricing, stock status or other content will always be error‑free, complete or current; or
-
The website will be free from interruptions or faults at all times.
We may correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and change or update information at any time without prior notice.
15. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
-
Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
-
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
-
Any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Subject to this:
-
We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your use of the website or purchase of products.
-
Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to a purchase of products will be limited to the amount you paid for those products.
Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
16. Privacy and data protection
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection law. The Privacy Policy explains:
-
What personal data we collect.
-
How we use, store and protect it.
-
Your rights in relation to your personal information.
By using this website or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
17. Third‑party services and links
The website may contain links to third‑party websites, services or payment providers that are not owned or controlled by The Fitness Industry Directory Limited.
We are not responsible for:
-
The content, policies or practices of any third‑party sites or services.
-
Any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
You should review the terms and policies of any third‑party services you use in connection with our website (for example, payment processors or social media platforms).
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our business, new legal requirements or improvements to our services.
-
The latest version will always be posted on this page, with the “Last updated” date at the top.
-
The version of the Terms in force at the time you place your order will normally apply to that order, unless a change is required by law or we notify you otherwise.
It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes relating to these Terms or to purchases made through this website will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer law in another part of the UK gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
